Here's the future? See if you like it.

How would you like it if your friends knew where you were all the time? I mean, really.

Not just from your twitter posts or facebook scribbles or orkut scraps, where you choose to let them know where you are or what you are doing or what you find interesting or your state of mind, but when you just browse?

Here's a vision of the way you might browse in the future, offered by Browzmi (http://browzmi.com): You and your friends can get together for an expedition or simply hang out together at a Web site.

It offers social browsing, social bookmarking, and instant messaging, all while you are surfing on the Web.

Okay, sure, that is not the only way to browse.

But think about this: Many contemporaries and youngsters use facebook, orkut and twitter the way we used e-mail in the late nineties, just to catch up and broadcast within a limited circle.

Then came blogs, where you are transparent to anyone and everyone, and this madness for sharing took off. Browzmi offers the usual filters and blockers and private settings, but let's face it - most people who use it will be permanently logged on (like you are with your favourite webmail and IM) and most people won't bother about the settings.

Okay, I have to finish: I promised to do something important and now my better half knows I have been messing with Browzmi.
