The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque at Abu Dhabi is a key place of worship for Friday gathering and Eid prayers for people in the region. The design is said to have been inspired by Arab, Mughal and Moorish mosque architecture, particularly the dome layout and the floor plan. All photos by Mohan Padmanabhan
