Essilor has launched Crizal Forte UV, a clear eyeglass lens offering advanced protection against damaging UV light. This exclusive lens blocks UV rays entering the eye both from the front and the back. It has also introduced a new ‘eye-sun protection factor’ for lenses. The Essilor innovation involves a new anti-reflective coating on the rear of the lens – called Broad Spectrum Technology – which virtually eliminates UV light reflection into the eyes while maintaining the premium transparency of the lens. Prices start from Rs 2,200 plus taxes. They are available with all the major opticians.

Tips & Toes has launched a ‘4 in 1 Makeover Stick’. It can be used as a concealer, foundation, compact as well as a sun block. It is available in four shades to suit every skin colour. It costs Rs 495.

Pergo has launched a new range of laminate flooring called Endless Plank. The joints at the end of each panel line up both in texture and grain creating an endless board effect. It comes in four new oak decors named Honey, Taupe, Barista and Sand. All come in Big Slab format (1288 x 195 mm x 9mm), Class32 product with Pergo’s patented PerfectFold technology for easy installation as well as Pergo’s most durable surface, TitanX Advanced. The price of Endless Plank is Rs 195 per sq. ft.

Electrolux has launched the Kelvinator Ayoni RO Water Purifier. It is equipped with Microshield, a patented technology which assures extended bio-purity cover for a 48-hour period. The Kelvinator Ayoni is designed for bore water and the Kelvinator Ayoni + for metro water is priced at Rs 13,600.

RAK Ceramics has entered the ceramic tiles category with Venezia. The product range of the first phase will be Venezia Classic and Venezia DG Pix (digital print) showcasing an exclusive range of 300 X 450 mm and 300 X 600 mm wall tile concepts with 300 X 300 mm matching floor tiles, 250 X 375 mm wall tile concepts with matching floor tile in 250 X 250 mm in Venezia DG Pix and 400 x 400 mm and 600 x 600 mm ceramic floor tiles in glossy, matt and rustic finishes. Wall tiles will be priced from Rs 52 per sq. ft. and floor tiles Rs 63 per sq. ft.
