What gadgets do you use?

I use the iPhone 4, iPad, Amazon Kindle and a Samsung Series 9 laptop.

What is your latest gadget possession?

The Kindle and the Samsung Series 9 laptop.

What is your dream machine?

I don’t have dream machine. I’m fine with whatever provides me convenience and allows me to travel light and fast. But if someone’s feeling generous and wants to gift me an Aston or a Bugatti I’m not going to say no!

What do you not like about technology?

It kind of makes it hard for you to switch off. I don’t mean the gadget that you are using but personally it means you’re always accessible and always checking, watching or doing something fidgety. What happened to good ol’ time with ourselves?

What apps or tools do you use personally and for what purpose?

I use many apps to make my life easier. I have my Kindle synced to the app. SoundHound is great, as is Flipboard. I’m also an aggressive user of iTunes so I have a lot of movies and some of my US serials that I still follow on it.

Biggest tech success according to you.

I am a firm believer that technology has the power to bring about a positive change. Technological breakthroughs in medicine and biotechnology have helped in changing many lives and that’s a big success, according to me.

One instance where technology solved your problem.

Isn't technology making everyone's life easier...from remotely monitoring water irrigation and ensuring no water wastage of water, to forecasting of natural disasters where even a 5 minute warning ahead of time can save thousands of lives? For me it's not just one instance - it allows me to check up on my 2-year old while at work, keep in touch with friends across the globe to spell-checking, booking tickets for last minute travel, or buying deals from Mydala on my phone...we can rely upon different technologies to help us out. It’s the same for most of us, isn’t it?
