How tech-savvy are you?

I am quite tech savvy and like to be up-to-date with the latest technologies and gadgets. This is not new to me, I have been curious about technology from my early years.

What gadget/s do you use?

I use several gadgets like BlackBerry (latest being the Porsche Design BlackBerry), iPad, etc, which are extremely useful in conducting day to day business affairs.

What is your latest gadget possession?

I have recently purchased a radiation meter, a portable device to measure the intensity of eletromagnetic and nuclear radiation in a given region. This helps me analyse which are radioactively hot areas that can be harmful for us both personally and professionally.

What is your dream machine?

I wish I could posses a time machine, to take me back and further in time.

What do you not like about technology?

Technology is my passion, there’s nothing that I don’t like about it.

What apps or tools do you use personally and for what?

I use various apps for my personal and professional use like for weather, monitoring cameras across my offices, for checking radiation levels, blood pressure and pulse monitor.

Biggest tech disaster according to you…

I honestly feel that Nokia who had an 80 per cent market share should have innovated their technology to retain the same. Since they were not able to do so, their market share has reduced tremendously.

Biggest tech success according to you…

I believe Apple has achieved a stupendous success with its cutting edge technology and various applications. Its innovative products have won the hearts of many consumers globally, which exemplifies that innovation is the key for success in today’s tech savvy age.

One instance when technology solved your problem.

Technology solves my problem every day. I have integrated the CCTV cameras of all my facilities at all locations with my iPad. Now I can see the action at all my facilities from anywhere in the world and be up to date with all the action.
