Bulk note acceptor at Federal Bank

Federal Bank has installed a bulk note acceptor at its new branch at Thiruvananthapuram Chalai, a trading hub. The machine will work round the clock and accept bulk amounts of deposits, sort, count, and instantly credit the amount to the account of the deposit cardholder.

This is the first device that the bank has installed in any of its branches in Thiruvananthapuram zone. T. S. Jagadeesan, chief general manager of the bank, formally threw open the machine to the public here on Thursday. C. P. Sasidharan, deputy general manager and zonal head; Tomy Cyriac, regional manager; and Rema Devi, senior manager of the branch, spoke on the occasion.
