LVB gets RBI approval for 71 more branches

Lakshmi Vilas Bank has received RBI permission to open 71 more branches. The new permission allows the bank to open branches in Metro, urban, semi-urban and rural centres.

At present, LVB has a network of 291 branches and a customer base of over two million. The bank also has 627 ATMs of its own.

K.S.R. Anjaneyulu, MD & CEO (interim), Lakshmi Vilas Bank, said, “The expanded network of branches will assist the bank in reaching out to newer demographics.”

LVB has presence in over 15 States and 1 Union Territory and plans to expand reach to hitherto unrepresented states and UTs, pan India.
