BSE listed Glodyne Technoserve has acquired e-governance player Comat Technologies for an undisclosed amount.

The partnership with Comat will enable Glodyne to expand its reach in new states for providing citizen centric services, as per a company press statement.

Apart from being active in Unique ID project (Aadhar), Comat has also implemented public distribution systems or PDS program in Karnataka.

This project entailed computerisation of the food and civil supplies department covering over 10 million families across Karnataka.

Comat brings on-the-ground experience of having worked on providing services for millions of rural citizens. Together with our technology and service offerings, we believe tremendous value can be created for all constituents" said Mr Annand Sarnaaik, Chairman and Managing Director of Glodyne Technoserve.

Once the deal goes through, Comat will operate as a subsidiary of Glodyne.
