Sysnet Associates has developed and launched, with a slew of business applications for these small companies.

Small factories, clinics, budget hotel, hospitals, start-up efforts in different sectors and small businesses, which often find software expensive, can get onto the site and start entering the electronic format of functioning from their manual, said Mr S. Suryaprakash, Managing Director of the Bangalore-based Sysnet Associates.

The company, with core strength in building ERP (enterprise resource planning) solutions, has developed applications called goodhealth (hospital management system), myclinic (doctors and physicians), staycool (hotel management), kwikpaylite (payroll software) and kwikbizlite (ERP-based solution for small business).

Sysnet Associates has harnessed the advantage of cloud computing to offer a cost-effective route to small and medium businesses, Mr Suryaprakash said.

Cloud computing helps deliver computing and storage capacity as a service.

Since the service provider manages the infrastructure and platforms on which applications run, the client need not invest in space or infrastructure.

The company plans to expand its portfolio of business applications to around 35 in the next 18 months.

Growing demands

Plans are on to build custom projects at a later stage with bigger software on the cloud to meet the growing demands, Mr Suryaprakash told Business Line. The current business applications are also scalable to meet the immediate growth needs of the firms.
