Acer India has partnered with Vaulten, a cloud service provider, to offer free cloud space with Acer’s desktop and notebooks.

Acer will provide 2GB of free cloud space on a private cloud network, a press statement said.

“The cloud services offered by Acer will give the company an opportunity to address the requirements of its modern age consumers who are tech savvy and require that extra storage space,” the statement said.

Through this Vaulten account, consumers can protect data from computers running on multiple platforms spread across offices and other geographies. According to the statement, the cloud account comes with a built-in automatic sync feature for file synchronisation across systems.

This offer is valid on the Veriton, TravelMate, Gateway and Aspire range of commercial and consumer desktops and laptops, the statement said.
