A few hours from now, thousands of computers infected with a virus called DNS Changer, will go off the Internet.
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation will shut down the rogue servers used by cyberspace criminals to reroute traffic from the infected PCs. When this happens, the infected PCs cannot access websites.

India being a major victim of this cyberspace fraud, Internet security firms have advised Internet users to run a free solution on their PCs to know whether the PCs are infected. This process takes only a few seconds. About 20,000 PCs in India are infected with this malware.
Internet security firms such as Mcafee, Escan, Kaspersky and the US agency FBI are offering the scan facility.
