The Kochi-based Brahma Learning Solutions, which is carrying out business consultancy, has ventured into market process outsourcing (MPO) for Kerala’s SME sector.
The company has formed a division – Brahma Outreach – to provide MPO services enabling clients to sell their products in a cost-effective and dynamic way.
A.R. Ranjith, Head (Consulting and Training), Brahma Learning Solutions, said Outreach takes up the entire marketing operations and works with the client right from the conception of a product/business idea up to the delivery of the finished product or final project to the customer.
According to him, SMEs are finding increasing opportunities to enhance its business activities in core sectors. It has no dearth of ideas or funds but lack of adequate marketing skills is hampering the business.
An idea fails to move from the boardroom to marketplace because of poor marketing, Ranjith said.
Brahma Learning Solutions is working with a mission of creating 1,000 success stories in the SME segment. The company takes care of the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation, thus providing a complete package.
He pointed out about 1.5 lakh SMEs are actively operating in the State. While many blamed government policies and poor business environment for the challenges in SME segment in Kerala, Brahma has found that most of the issues related with SME were connected with its promoter-driven model, he added.
