The event includes hands-on tutorials on mobile app development on Windows Phone 8 and Android platforms

The annual Technology Day, hosted by the IT& ITES Industry Association of Andhra Pradesh will be held tomorrow in Hyderabad.

The event is an open platform for tech professionals together to discuss the topical technology trends gaining traction in the IT industry and among the consuming enterprises.

This year, the event will take a look at some of the hot technology trends and those that failed to interest people. The State Governor, E.S.L. Narasimhan will deliver the keynote address. It will also host eminent speakers from the Industry, academia and the analyst community.

“This year’s Technology Day will be covering a wide array of topics of interest to the Industry and Academia, including current technology trends, emerging platforms and market opportunities. It will also be discussing the macro trends in the industry globally, Indian IT space – technology & enterprise view and an academic view in terms of what R&D trends are applicable to the industry from an academia stand point”, said V. Rajanna, President of ITsAP.

U.B. Desai, Director of IIT-Hyderabad; Sanjay Anand-Head Google (R&D); Santanu Paul-CEO of Talent Sprint; Prasad Saripally from IBM Research; CSR Prabhu, Deputy Director-General of NIC, Hyderabad; and Pari Natarajan, CEO of Zinnov Management Consulting; will be some of the lead speakers sharing their insights on technology trends, a press release said.
