Nokia launched an impressive line-up of new personal media devices at Nokia World 2013, Abu Dhabi.

The company launched its first-ever tablet, the Lumia 2520, with a 10-inch display. The tablet runs on the latest version of Windows RT and sports a 6.7 megapixel rear camera built with Zeiss optics.

The Lumia 2520 is priced at $499 in the US and it will be launched in India later next year.

The quality and value that Nokia products deliver continues to grow, as we partner with developers to introduce app experiences that are unique to Lumia and Windows Phone,” said Stephen Elop Executive Vice-President, Devices & Services at Nokia.

The Lumia 2520 tablet features a Nokia Storyteller app that lets you curate your pictures and videos to create a story on a map, as well as Nokia Video Director, which offers the ability to edit and get even more creative with videos shot on the 2520 as well Lumia smartphones.

Nokia updated its Lumia range of smartphones with two new devices — the Lumia 1320 and the Lumia 1520 — both sized similarly at 6-inches.

The 1520 is one of the few Windows Phones with a full-HD 1080p screen and it runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The 1520 also has a 3,400mAh battery and supports wireless charging like its predecessors.

The Lumia 1320 is being marketed as a mid-budget option with its 720p HD display and a dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM. In the imaging department too, it has been brought down a notch to a 5-megapixel camera. In an attempt to continue making profits in the emerging markets, Nokia introduced three new Asha phones. The cheapest of those the Asha 500 will be available from $69 onwards. All The proprietary Fastlane user interface that was introduced with the Nokia Asha 501 earlier this year has been upgraded in the three new launches.

With whatsapp feature

The Asha models will now also feature WhatsApp, the immensely popular messaging service. All Windows devices will also, in a couple of weeks, be able to use Instagram, with the company deciding to come aboard Windows.

The costliest of the new Asha phones is the Asha 503 which sports a 3-inch screen, 5MP camera with LED flash, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 and comes in single SIM and Easy Swap Dual SIM variants. It is available for $99.

All six devices are going to be launched in India starting early next year.
