Hong Kong-based Wallem Group plans to offer employment opportunities in Merchant Navy to youths in Kerala.
The shipping company has designed a well-planned strategy to attract and train skilled workforce (18-30 years of age).
The company has opened a ‘Wallem Facilitation Centre’ in Kochi to provide free advice and counselling services to university graduates who intend to join Merchant Navy in various positions. The Group plans to invest Rs 25-30 crore over the next 2-3 years across various locations in India.
