The summer placements process for the PGP class of 2019 at the Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad (IIM-A) began on Monday with over 35 companies participating in the Cluster-1.
Consulting major Accenture Strategy was the top recruiter with 19 offers while others in the consulting domain included AT Kearney, Bain & Co, McKinsey & Co, Monitor Deloitte, Strategy& and The Boston Consulting Group, among others.
Multinational investment banks such as Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citibank, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JP Morgan, and Morgan Stanley were among the top recruiters in investment banks and markets space. Avendus Capital and Citibank made five offers each.
“We see active participation in the PE and VC domain this year with Kedaara Capital, Multiples Equity, Temasek and True North participating, among others,” a statement from IIM-A said.
Asset management players included DSP Blackrock and Balyasny Asset Management at the summer placements this year.
The Clusters 2 and 3 process will be held on November 9 and 12 respectively.
