Nasdaq-listed CA Technologies sees big opportunities across Application Program Interface (API) in India, while DevOps and autonomy are other areas where the IT major sees potential in the country.
"APIs are the central piece of any digital transformation. APIs are going to be important because they are going to enable new businesses to emerge, or even a payment service to happen," Ashok Vasan,Vice President, Digital Transformation Asia Pacific & Japan at CA Technologies told BusinessLine in an interaction.
CA Technologies, according to independent studies, is the leader in API technologies, which are a set of routines, protocols and tools for building software applications.
"I would say the opportunity is huge. Look at the key indicator such as mobile penetration, which is the foundation on which all the services are going to be developed,"he added.
On the rise in digital technology in India, he said its the scale that is driving it.
"The delivery of goods and services will now be reaching to a larger segment of the population," he added.
