IT services major Cognizant has announced the launch of TriZetto Healthcare Cloud Solution, a new managed services platform for the healthcare sector , powered by Microsoft Azure.
The solution provides a flexible, efficient, on-demand infrastructure for increased operational efficiency, automation and reduced administrative costs, according to a statement.
A managed services Cloud solution enables healthcare organisations to pay only for the infrastructure they use, and better respond to shifting regulations and reforms.
“Delivering our leading TriZetto capabilities on a Cloud-based model helps reduce administrative costs and re-focus resources on new digital healthcare solutions that improve member and provider value and experience,” said Rajeev Mehta, President, Cognizant.
The solution is being implemented by Madison-based Wisconsin Physicians Service Insurance Corporation, a not-for-profit health insurer.
