Easter Egg, blockchain technology-enabled gifting platform has raised $400,000 from Singapore-based Wealthy Ideas.
Easter Egg is a block chain-enabled, global gifting platform that enables people to gift across geographies and this is its initial fund raise. They have started out offering their gifting services across four food & beverages, spa & wellness, activities and experiences and is operational in three cities - Bangalore, Pune and Singapore. The Easter Egg blockchain will be powered by Easter Egg coins or tokens that can be used as vouchers. This funding will help take its products to other geographies and help in increasing recruitment, according to Sandeep Sangli Co-Founder and CEO.
"Today most vouchers are tied to a brand and they cannot, in most cases, be shape-shifted to be used with another brand. We are working on a solution that will bring vouchers, loyalty points and payments, all on one single platform”, Sangli added.
