GGK Technologies, a business technology solutions provider, expects to triple its manpower resources from its present 700.
The growth number will be driven by expansion into newer markets and emerging areas, says Shyam Palreddy, Founder & CTO.
The Hyderabad-based company, which has been US focussed for over a decade, will increase its geographic presence in Australia, UK and some European countries. It will also intensify engagement in healthcare, business intelligence analytics and big data, he told BusinessLine here.
In the last one year, mobility, automation, especially helping customers to move to cloud and building Hospital Information Services (HIS) for clients in the US, Australia and India have helped the company register significant gains.
The company gained lot of experience working on projects in the US healthcare scheme, popularly called ‘Obamacare’. Based on that it has developed products for healthcare that will be useful for the insurers and healthcare providers, he said.
The 12-year-old firm, which was recently awarded the best Indian SME prize for 2015-16 by the Hyderabad Software Exporters Association, has two facilities in Hyderabad, employing over 700 professionals.
“We are transiting from a services company to a solutions and products firm. This will see big growth and investments of $5-10 million over the next 3-5 years in different geographies”, Shyam said.
The company has recently come up with an app to empower citizens. In collaboration with the Vision India Foundation, the product is being piloted by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi in the latter’s efforts to provide smart or transparent governance. It enables users to get important data on civic amenities on Ward basis with corporator info to interact. Interest has been shown by Mumbai Corporation also, said Raghu Verabelli, Managing Partner.
New productThe HIS is also being shaped into a patient version with a new product called ePrescription. Comprehensive patient history and management process, driven by government and private-sector initiatives to connect healthcare and reduce costs is the focus of healthcare providers. In this next-generation, electronic health record systems, can help, which the company has created, he added.
