To accelerate its outsourcing business, HCL Technologies has appointed C Vijaykumar as the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Vijaykumar is currently the president of Global Infrastructure Services business, responsible for strategy, product, sales and delivery and is two decade a veteran in the company.
This development comes at a time when HCL Tech is all set to report its first quarter numbers in August.
Vijaykumar, currently handles HCL's $2.2 billion and around 30,000 employees, which involves managing IT infrastructure of Fortune 500 companies. In his new role, Vijaykumar will accelerate growth in the core outsourcing business as HCL evolves its service offerings into integrated propositions, across all segments and regions.
Vijaykumar was the member founding startup team at HCL Comnet.
