E-commerce player Infibeam Incorporation on Monday posted a consolidated net profit of ₹19.7 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, up 105 per cent from ₹9.6 crore reported in the same quarter a year ago.
The company’s consolidated services revenues increased 249 per cent to ₹112 crore as against ₹32.2 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Its product revenues, however, showed a muted growth of 2 per cent to ₹72.5 crore for the quarter as against ₹70.9 crore in the same quarter last year.
EBITDA improved 115 per cent for the quarter to ₹36.4 crore as against ₹16.9 crore last year.
The company has maintained a high-growth momentum in its service segment (Infibeam Web Services) and maintained stability without burning cash in the product segment (Infibeam e-retail platform).
Infibeam shares gained close to 4 per cent on the NSE to close at ₹1,430 on Monday.
