After Mumbai, Tuk-Tuk, the fun app for kids that take them on a virtual tour around the cities, has come to Hyderabad. Developed by the Hyderabad-based Bulbulapps has announced that it raised funds from 60 people on the crowd-funding site Kickstarter.
The start-up develops apps for preschoolers with a focus on localised content that could be accessed on multiple devices.
“The funds raised from crowd funding site, Kickstarter will be used to pay writers, illustrator, animator, voice over artists, musicians and towards app development and testing,” Prakash Dantuluri, the start-up founder, said.
The smartphone app helps kids discover his or her city with Tuktuk (three-wheeler automobile), in a visually and interactive way.
The company has raised $2,50,000 in angel round.
