Technology company Lenovo India on Thursday launched its latest smartphone Lenovo Z2 Plus priced at ₹17,999 and ₹19,999 to be sold on Amazon from September 25.

While the version with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at ₹17,999, the other with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at ₹19,999, the company said.

The Z2 Plus is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor, and uses DDR4 RAM and Sandisk SmartSLC for storage. The 5-inch screen smartphone has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

“We are No. 3 by volume and number two by value according to IDC's report. Our sales are driven by young users who have better knowledge on technology and features. We will keep innovating to drive growth," Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director - Mobile Business Group, Lenovo India, told presspersons here.

Some of the features of the Z2 Plus include a dedicated application to track all of one's fitness needs. It has a Pedometer, Gyroscope, Accelerometer and sensor processing unit of Snapdragon 820, which are mostly accurate and consume very little power, it said.

The smartphone will come with a premium Chrono Case Accessory with five different Chrono faces. The Matte Black Stealth Case worth Rs 699 will be bundled with the phone, the company added.
