Tecno Mobile, an offline premium smartphone brand from Chinese Transsion Holdings, has tied up with the city-based mobile retail chain Poorvika Mobiles to kick-start its smartphones sale in Tamil Nadu.
In April, Tecno Mobile unveiled its ‘Made for India’ ‘i’ series product portfolio in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Punjab.
It now expands its footprint by launching a range of smartphones in 15 States, including Tamil Nadu, according to Anish Kapoor, CEO (Tecno & Infinix India).
“We aim to replicate this success across other markets and our target is to be among the top 5 smartphone brands in India by next year-end,” he told newspersons.
Techno Mobile is strengthening its distribution and after-sales service network and make its smartphones available to customers across India.
The “i-series” product portfolio consist of 5 smartphones — i3, i3 pro, i5, i5 pro and i7 — priced in the range of ₹7,990 to ₹14,990.
Tecno smartphones sale starts with Poorvika today across their 250+ stores in 43 cities of Tamil Nadu.
Thereafter, from third week of September the sale will extend across all other 3000+ retail touch points. Tecno is supported by 45+ service touchpoints of Carlcare in Tamil Nadu, says a company press releases.
