LeEco has said that its EPIC 919 online shopping festival in India on September 19 was successful “beyond expectations” and that it had to extend the festival by 24 hours due to “unprecedented user demand”.

According to Atul Jain, COO, LeEco India, the company created new sales records by selling over 70,000 Superphones, 2,000 SuperTVs and close to 20,000 accessories. LeEco achieved sales revenue of over ₹100 crore during the online festival, he said.

EPIC 919 was a global online festival, and LeEco had registered a total sales revenue of nearly ₹5,200 crore across India, China and Hong Kong.

Jain said the success of the online sale, the first by a single brand, was beyond expectations in India.
