Ramco Systems today said it has bagged an order from New Zealand-based Ravensdown Aerowork to automate and unify the maintenance and overhaul operations of its fleet.

“Ramco will deploy Ramco Aviation Suite v5.8 to enable Ravensdown Aerowork automate and unify the maintenance and overhaul operations of its fleet,” the company said in a statement.

As part of the order, Ramco would provide maintenance and engineering, supply chain, fixed asset management, general accounting modules for efficient management of systems and processes, among others.

Ravensdown Aerowork, subsidiary of the farmer—owned cooperative Ravensdown Ltd. operates fixed wing aircrafts which spread fertilisers across New Zealand. The company’s fleet has the ability to carry up to 2,000 kg loads.

Ramco Aviation Suite will provide greater visibility on work planning, reporting, and costing for the company’s aircraft operation and maintenance business, the statement said.

Commenting on the development, Ramco Systems CEO, Virender Aggarwal said: “We are excited to see the recognition of our innovation in the Oceania region, with Ravensdown Aerowork being the latest addition to our esteemed clientele in the region.

Ramco Aviation Suite V5.8 is an enterprise application that covers the entire spectrum of maintenance operations both for the civil and military helicopters.

Shares of Ramco Systems were trading at Rs 358, up 2.59 per cent on the BSE.
