India’s largest software exporter TCS today said it was recognized with the ‘Employee Engagement Project of the Year’ and ‘Social Responsibility Project of the Year’ at the North American Employee Engagement Awards ceremony in Chicago.

Tata Consultancy Services was highlighted as the top firm in two of 16 categories and possible winners on June 22.

It won the Employee Engagement Project of the Year — for large public enterprise — due to its culture of promoting high impact employee engagement, senior management connections and employee development initiatives.

TCS won the Social Responsibility Project of the Year for its significant level of technology and employee volunteer investments, plus tangible results, particularly through its national computer science education advocacy and flagship community goIT program that teaches coding, robotics and design to middle and high school students in schools across 32 cities, the company said a release today.

“Congratulations to our winners, who have rightly been recognized for excellence in improvising employee engagement to drive wellbeing, better work environments and organizational success,” said Matt Manners, founder of the Employee Engagement Awards.

“It is an honour to receive ongoing industry recognition for the deep investments TCS makes in its North American workforce and the tangible impact we’re having in various local communities,” said Surya Kant, President, North America, UK and Europe, TCS.

“This award reflects our culture of inclusion, personal growth and the difference we can collective make across the region, for employees, clients and society at large.”
