Virinchi Technologies has won the Best Indian SME Company award at the Hyderabad Software Exporters’ Association (HYSEA) annual summit.
While Virtusa (India) and GE (India) Exports bagged the Best Indian IT Services Company award (₹100-500 crore category), CA Technologies has been adjudged the Best MNC IT Software Company in the same revenue category.
The awards were given away at a function here on Thursday to mark the 25th annual summit of the IT and BPO companies association. Microsoft India (R&D) won the Top MNC IT Exporters award and Google India was declared as the Fastest Growing IT Company for the year 2015-16. Over 150 start-ups had showcased their products and services at the conference. The awards were presented by Katherine B Hadda, Consul General at the US Consulate in Hyderabad, and Ranga Pothula, Chairman of HYSEA.
Earlier, addressing the gathering, Katherine Hadda said the people in Telangana were hospitable and that innovation was part of the culture. “Hyderabad is a dynamic place,” she said. Amit Sharma, Global Chief Operating Officer of IBM Global Business Services, said that cognitive solutions were building blocks that made solutions effective and efficient.
