Region-specific slabs in roaming rates

BPL Mobile has announced new rates for SMS and roaming for its post-paid subscribers in Mumbai. Post-paid users can send SMS for 30 paise anywhere in the country, while incoming messages will remain free. The service provider is also offering 100 outgoing SMSs free for a subscription fee of Rs 30 a month. The rates will be applicable from December 15.

Roaming charges have also been slashed to Rs 2.99 per minute from Rs 6.44 on incoming calls while roaming in the western region.

The offer is available across BPL Mobile networks in Mumbai and Maharashtra as well as the western circles of Hutch in Mumbai and Gujarat and the Idea Cellular network in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.
