Reliance MF declares bonus and dividends

  • Reliance Mutual has declared a dividend of 50 per cent each for Reliance Vision Fund and Reliance Growth Fund and a dividend of 30 per cent of Reliance Banking Fund. The fund has declared a bonus in the ratio of 2 units for every 5 units for the bonus option of Reliance Medium Term Fund. The record date is March 28, except for the dividend in Reliance Growth for which the eligibility date is March 29.

  • DSP Merrill Lynch has declared a dividend of 25 per cent and 15 per cent for DSP ML Opportunities Fund and DSP ML T.I.G.E.R Fund respectively. The record dates are March 23 and April 11 respectively.

  • Franklin Templeton has announced a dividend of 30 per cent for Franklin India Taxshield. Investors in the Dividend Option as of March 18 are eligible to receive the dividend.

  • Prudential ICICI Mutual has announced a dividend of 10 per cent for Prudential ICICI Growth Plan Dividend Option. The record date for the dividend is March 17.

  • Franklin Templeton has altered the load structure for the recently launched Franklin Flexi Cap Fund. An entry load of 2.25 per cent now applies, irrespective of the amount invested. Earlier, an investment of over Rs 5 crore was exempt from load. There is no exit load. Earlier, an exit load of 1 per cent was applicable if an investment in excess of Rs 5 crore was withdrawn within a year of allotment.

  • Mr Didier Turpin of Societe Generale Asset Management Company will be the new Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of SBI Mutual Fund. Societe Generale of France is to pick up a 37 per cent stake in the fund.

  • Reliance Mutual has collected Rs 1,773 crore during the initial offering period of the Reliance Opportunities Fund. The collection just trails that of Franklin Flexi-cap Fund, which grossed close to Rs 2,000 crore.
