IF YOU thought that live stock quotes were available only on Bloomberg, Reuters or the BSE and the NSE Web sites, think again. You can soon get live quotes on your mobile phones. Bharti Tele-Ventures has announced the launch of India's first stock and portfolio tracker on mobile phones in association with the BSE.

Called Airtel Portfolio Manager, the service will be available to all post-paid and pre-paid customers with GPRS/EDGE-enabled phones. Airtel Live will enable customers view live quotes of stocks and analyse the status of their portfolio.

The service is accessible also on roaming in Indiaand across 20 countries. So, all you market watchers, get mobile and go live!
