Maruti's new package

Maruti has tweaked the August offering on its cars and has also included the Maruti 800 — the old warhorse. As part of its September sales scheme, its dealers are offering comprehensive insurance cover on purchase of Maruti cars for a year at Re 1 on all variants of the Zen (petrol), M 800, WagonR, Esteem (petrol) and the Baleno. However, those purchasing the Alto are entitled to a 50 per cent discount of insurance premium for a year instead of the Re1 offer. The dealers are also offering gift cheques worth Rs 10,000 on all variants of the Zen (petrol) and Rs 7,500 on the WagonR. Maruti Genuine Accessories (MGA) worth Rs 28,000 come free with the Baleno.

These offers are valid on purchases made until September 18. In addition, Maruti, as part of a strategy for retaining its customer base, is offering its existing car owners an exchange bonus of Rs 5,000, which is valid until the end of this month.
