Cars Marketing - New Products & Services New Optra variant launched
GM has launched a higher-end version of the Chevrolet Optra. At Rs 8.99 lakh, the Optra Royale is powered by a 1.6 engine, with VGIS technology and revised gear ratios designed to increase fuel efficiency. The Royale attempts to take luxury to a higher level in the mid-size segment. The sedan is loaded with about two-dozen additional features over the regular Optra. The theme of the interior is beige and leather seat upholstery has been added. The interiors also feature wood panelling and a silver centre panel on the door boards, which enhance the looks. The rear seat features an armrest with cup holders; the driver's seat is height adjustable and sports new lumbar supports. More cabin space for storage is available by way of a foldable rear seat and an under-seat tray on the co-driver side. Double DIN MP3 music system comes as part of standard fitment. The new Optra variant also offers better comfort with an all-wheel independent suspension system. The sedan comes in a triple coat diamond exterior, with 14-inch alloy wheels. It is fitted with burglar alarm and, to top it all sports a sunroof.
