Enfield powers up the Bullet

AS PART of its strategy to cater to next-generation bikers who have a fancy for muscle machines, Royal Enfield has launched new versions of the Bullet Electra and the Thunderbird. The new version Electra, christened Electra 5S, and the Thunderbird are equipped with a 5-speed gearbox with left gearshift. Dual tone colours enhance the appeal of the muscle machines.

The machines also feature gas filled rear shock-absorbers. They also come with optional front wheel disc brakes and electric start. The Electra 5S is fitted with a glass-wool-fitted silencer to reduce heat transmission. An aluminium engine forms the heart of the Thunderbird.
