HM rolls out Mitsubishi Montero

Hindustan Motors has launched the Montero, the sports utility vehicle (SUV), from the Mitsubishi stable. The Montero is the second model to be launched from Mitsubishi, Japan, this year, taking the total count of models available under this brand to four. The 3.2-litre SUV is powered by a four-cylinder turbo diesel engine, which generates a generous 165 bhp of peak power. Dual front airbags, four-wheel drive, stability and traction control systems are among the Montero's key features. The Montero can accommodate seven-eight passengers. The premium SUV, which is available here as a completely built unit, carries a price tag of Rs 29.7 lakh.
