Infosys closed the week with a gain of 3 per cent. The short-term trend is sideways though the medium term trend in this stock is negative. The third part of the move from Rs 1,912 can take the stock higher to Rs 2,131 or Rs 2,219.

The medium-term outlook in this stock will turn positive only if there is a firm close above Rs 2,150. In this event, the stock can move up to Rs 2,219 and then to Rs 2,243. Short-term traders can hold the stock with a stop at Rs 1,990. Investors can keep a deeper stop at Rs 1,880.
