ACC closed the week with a 2 per cent loss. But the short-term trend in this stock would be defined as sideways.

The immediate support for the stock are present at Rs 821 and then at Rs 798. Traders can watch for buying opportunity around Rs 798, as the 50-day moving average is present here.

Investors are cautioned to tread warily until the stock closes firmly above the long-term moving average at Rs 944.

Continued struggle to rally above Rs 900 would signal the end of the medium term up move that began at the April 2007 trough.
