Mutual Funds Markets - New Fund Offer
Reliance Mutual has introduced exit loads on four of its equity schemes from May 21. The schemes are Reliance Vision, Reliance Equity, Reliance Equity Opportunities and Reliance Growth. The fund will charge an exit load of 1 per cent for investments less than Rs 5 crore if the amount is redeemed or switched before 6 months from the date of allotment. A load of 0.5 per cent will be charged for investments less than Rs 5 crore if the redemption or switch is made beyond six months but before the completion of a year from the date of scheme allotment. DBS Chola Mutual Fund has declared a dividend of 50 per cent (Rs 5.00 per unit on a face value of Rs 10), under the dividend plan of DBS Chola Hedge Equity Fund. Record date for the same will be May 31. HSBC Mutual Fund has extended the offer period for HSBC Fixed Plan Series 30 by seven days. Now, the offer will close on May 31. Lotus India AMC announced the launch of its close-ended debt scheme, Lotus India Fixed Maturity Plan (3 months) Series IX. The scheme opened for subscription on May 24 and will close on May 28.The minimum application amount is Rs 5,000. DBS Chola Mutual Fund has announced May 30 as the record date for the dividend under the dividend option of DBS Chola Fixed maturity Plan Series 6 Quarterly III. The AMC plans to distribute entire appreciation in the NAV between March 2 and May 30. The fund house has also announced the merger of DBS Chola Floating Rate Fund with DBS Chola Short Term Floating Rate Fund with effect from June 11. The dividend option of DBS Chola Floating Rate will be merged into DBS Chola Short Term Floating Rate Monthly Dividend Option while the cumulative option will be merged with the same option under DBS Chola Short Term Floating Rate. Canbank Mutual Fund has announced a dividend of 50 per cent (Rs 5 per unit on the face value of Rs 10) under the dividend option of CanExpo Fund. The record date for the income distribution for this open-ended equity-oriented specific-sector scheme has been fixed as May 29.
