What's ahead?

The open offer being made to public shareholders of Swaraj Engines by M&M is open until June 16; the closing date for the offer was recently changed.

ICI is likely to come out with a revised share buyback proposal at about Rs 575 per share after its earlier proposal failed to attract shareholder interest.

The DLF IPO, which is slated to hit the market by June 11, could have liquidity implications for the market.

AIA Engineering, BASF, NIIT, PVR and Tata Investment Corporation are slated to announce their earnings numbers next week.
