Investment World - Outlook
What’s ahead?

The Reserve Bank of India is scheduled to release its next monetary policy statement on July 31. With several market watchers expecting no further increases in interest rates, stocks in rate-sensitive sectors such as automobiles, banking and construction may see trading activity.

ABB, Bharti Airtel, Carborundum Universal, GMR Infrastructure, HDFC, Idea Cellular, Reliance Capital and Thermax are some of the companies slated to announce their first quarter results next week.

With the expiry of the month’s derivative contracts next week, changes in open interest and rollover analysis of the F&O contracts could set the tone for trading the next month.
