ABN AMRO asset Management Company has recently launched ABN AMRO China India Fund, an open-ended scheme to generate long term capital appreciation by investing in equities of two economies – India and China that offer potential f or an investor. In addition, the fund may also invest a limited proportion of its assets in other international equity and equity related securities.

The fund seeks to invest 65 per cent to 75 per cent of its assets in Indian equity and 25- 35 per cent in Chinese equity and up to 10 per cent of its assets in debt and money market instruments.

The NFO opened for subscription on September 3 and the offer closes on October 1.The fund offer growth and divided option. The fund would charge an entry load of 2.5 per cent for investment less than 5 crore. An exit load of 1 per cent is payable if the units are redeemed or switched out within one year from the date of allotment. Minimum one time investment amount is Rs 5000.

Mr Sameer Narayan and Mr Pradeep Kumar manage the fund.

Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund has announced a divided of 30 per cent under Franklin India Opportunities Fund. Record date for the same is September 12.

Tata Mutual Fund has recently launched Tata Indo-Global Infrastructure Fund a 3-year close-ended fund. And upon completion of 3 years, the scheme will automatically be converted into an open-ended scheme. The fund seeks to invest in eq uity and equity related instruments and infrastructure related sectors which are incorporated or have their area of primary activity in India and other parts of world. Minimum investment is Rs 10,000 and in multiples of Re 1.The fund is open from September 3 to October 16.

The fund will allocate 65- 85 per cent in equities of domestic companies and 15-35 per cent in foreign securities permitted by SEBI/RBI. The fund has divided and growth options.
