The week will see companies such as TCS, Axis Bank, HCL Technologies, Reliance Energy and Wipro announcing results. Among other heavyweights, ACC, Reliance Industries and Ranbaxy will declare their quarterly results on October 18 while ICICI Bank and Ambuja Cements will do so on October 19.

Holcim’s open offer for Ambuja Cements at Rs 154 per share is set to open on October 18 and close on November 6.

Also, shares of Consolidated Construction Consortium Ltd would be listed on the bourses on October 15.
