What’s ahead

Rising food prices in India seemed to have knocked off external concerns for now, as the stock markets keep a close watch on the Government’s moves to curb inflation. Shares of Sita Shree Food Products, which did its IPO in mid-March, will be listed on the bourses from Monday.

Also, shares of SBI allotted through its recently concluded rights issue will be permitted for trading from Monday.
