Tata Steel

This stock bucked the trend in the general market and closed the week in the green. Tata Steel is however still flirting with the intermediate resistance at Rs 850.

We remain with the view that fresh longs should be initiated only above this level.

The subsequent targets are Rs 910 and then Rs 950.

The near-term trend will stay positive as long as the stock holds above Rs 750.

Our intermediate term view remains unaltered.

A move beyond Rs 850 can propel the stock towards its life high again.

But the stock is expected to move in a broad range between Rs 600 and 900 over the intermediate term.
