Mutual Funds Markets - New Fund Offer With SEBI approving the joint venture between Bank of Baroda and Pioneer Investments, Bank of Baroda Mutual Fund will now be known as Baroda Pioneer Mutual Fund. DBS Chola Mutual Fund has launched a close-ended fund, DBS Chola Fixed Maturity Plan Series 10 – Quarterly Plan I (91days).The fund will invest in debt, corporate bonds, and Government and money markets securities maturing in line with time profile of the plan. The fund will not charge any entry load but there will be an exit load if redeemed before maturity. The minimum investment is Rs 5,000.The new fund offer closes on August 20. Kotak Mutual Fund has launched Kotak FMP 12M series, a close-ended debt scheme. The fund will invest in debt, money markets instruments and Government securities in line with the maturity of the scheme. The minimum investment is Rs 5,000 and there will be no entry load. However, if exited before maturity, an exit load of 1.5 per cent will be charged. The new fund offers close on August 20. Franklin Templeton Investments has declared a dividend of 25 per cent (Rs 2.50 per unit) under the Franklin Infotech Fund. The record date for the same is August 20. Principal PNB Mutual Fund has announced a revision in the exit load structure for Principal PNB Fixed Maturity Plan -385 days Series IX. According to the revised load structure the fund will charge an exit load of one per cent as against two per cent for switching out of the investment before maturity.
