Principal Mutual Fund has extended new fund offer period for Principal Emerging Bluechip Fund. The fund will now close for subscription on October 20.

The following Fixed Maturity Plans (FMP) are currently open for subscription:

HDFC FMP 18 months – October 2008 (9) -1 will close for subscription on October 15.

The NFO of ICICI Prudential FMP – Series 44 – 18 months is open from October 1-14.

Kotak Fixed Maturity Plan – 19 months – Series 1 will close its new fund offer on October 13.

Birla Sunlife FTP Series BG has has extended its NFO period by 5 days to October 13. The tenure offered by the scheme is 370 days.

Birla Sunlife Short Term Fund will have a daily dividend option with reinvestment facility under its retail plan. This option has come into effect from October 10.
