Letters Caring for consumers
The article, `Show them you care' (January 14, 2001), was very informative. It is true that the legal procedures, as mentioned by the author, have made the consumer redressal system much more complicated. I know of instances where there has been a great delay in redressing the complainant's grievance. And, I would also like to add that it is time that action is taken to rectify the system, which had been formulated to help consumers. V.S. Ganesan, Hyderabad.
