Cool wall hangings

Preeti Mehra

There isn't any stone that white good companies do not unturn to sell their wares. This time LG Electronics is trying to compete on the lifestyle shelves through its designer range of air conditioners.

And what do they have here — a wall hanging that hopes to compete with a work of art. The Whisen wall hanging that the company has unveiled after "years of research and development", claims that it will change the face of air conditioning in the country.

No sweat at driving the competition, but one hopes prices will climb down to a cooler level from the Rs 55,000 to Rs 60,000 they are right now.
