Something for the family

This summer, the Bangkok Marriott Resort and Spa has introduced family package that it says has something for everyone.

Priced at $299, inclusive of tax and service charge for two nights, the package includes a deluxe river-view room, which can accommodate upto two adults and two children, breakfast for four people, a Japanese cooking class, sunset cocktail cruise for four, kid's rucksack, all activities at the children's club, free access to the resort's family entertainment movie library and 20 per cent discount at all the resort's 11 restaurants and bars.

The activities for children include yoga sessions, face painting, junior tennis and interesting games. The adults, on the other hand, can engage themselves in Japanese cooking classes, swimming and relaxing cruises.

Also thrown in as part of the deal are daily sessions of fitness, ranging from aerobics to Tai Chi, Yoga and Thai boxing.

Guests can wind up their evenings with sessions of sumptuous cuisine that includes everything from a la minute pasta, Teppanyaki and Thai dishes to Indian and Chinese delicacies, Japanese sushi and sashimi, all freshly prepared.
